What is a Hysterosalpingogram?

Can you pronounce Hysterosalpingogram?
Here's a hint: hys·ter·o·sal·pin·go·gram. If you're still tripping over the word, check out the Merriam-Webster online dictionary which has audio pronunciation.
Hysterosalpingogram (HSG) is a very helpful and informative fertility test. It is used to determine if both of the fallopian tubes are open and whether the shape of the uterine cavity is normal. The tubes should be connected to the uterus and ovaries which allows sperm to travel up the tubes to meet and fertilize an egg. If you really want to know how tough you are, then have an HSG. I wouldn’t wish the test on my worst enemy especially if she had a blocked tube.
